From MAC Momma:
Hi Joelle,
I have switched my makeup products to the Mineralize collection by Mac. However, I have noticed that my skin looks oily. I have always been big on taking care of my skin and have used Mac makeup for almost a decade now. Is there another regimen I can try to eliminate the oily look?
Joelle:
Hi MAC Momma,
If you were using Mac cosmetics original makeup line and you didn’t experience your
skin feeling oily, I would return back to using the original product. The Mineralize
line may be causing your skin to produce more oil because it is not designed for your
skin type. You need an oil free based makeup line. Some of these lines are designed for different skin types: dry, combination, and oily. If the Mineralize line has a version for oily skin, you may be able to switch within the line.
