The Beat I Want for Christmas- My Letter to Santa
Before I get to my post, I want to thank Blog Her Color for selecting me as their feature blog of the week. It is indeed an honor and I hope all my new visitors will become good friends of LA Beauty Beat. Thanks again. It was a great present in my inbox over the weekend, finding out I was selected.
Thinking of presents got me conjuring thoughts of Christmas. There is a holiday chill in the air. I can almost smell Christmas around the corner. Can you believe it? I have started my holiday shopping and is the case every year, I see more things for me than I do for my family and friends. But, instead of splurging on myself, I decided to put my wishlist in a letter to Santa. I hope it’s not too late and he is checking blogs and will find my note. Dear Santa
It’s me LaWanda. I know it’s been a minute, actually years but who’s counting…. How are you? I wanted you to know that I have missed you terribly. Christmas has not been the same without you. I am sure you are busy right now and I don’t want to take too much of your time. Like I said I know I haven’t written you in years but I decided you really needed to know what I wanted for Christmas. First and foremost I have been a very, very, very good girl this year. Seriously, ask my mom and dad. LOL Anyway, my “Beat” needs some help. I’m sure you know what a Beat is but just in case let me give you some background. I use the term “Beat” simply to mean apply makeup. Beats can be described in levels i.e. Light Beat or Medium Beat or by setting like “Work Beat” or “Holiday Beat.” We can discuss this further, especially if you want me to help Mrs. Claus with her Beat. (Tell her to subscribe to my blog.)
Ok, so I really want some new items to help with my Beat for Christmas. Below is a picture, description and why I want it. Let me know what you can do. I think this will be a great opportunity to rekindle our relationship. I promise to leave the milk and cookies out (do you still eat that?) or whatever snacks you like if you grant my wishes. Here goes:

So Santa that’s it…. I’m not that greedy. Do what you can for me???
