Our Beauty Beat of the Week is Ms. Sonya Lowery.  She has a great travel show, www.WorldNextDoorTV.com.

It’s a new on-line “No-Travel” Travel Show in which she tells viewers that “You don’t need to leave town to get away. It’s really easy to find a great hot-spot or “staycation” location right where you live.”

What a great concept, and a perfect way to discover your own city.
Below Sonya shares her “Busy Beat” with us:

“My days can be very long and hectic at times – I need make-up that can go as hard as I do.  And since I like getting out and trying new things, I want skin and make-up that will allow me to go from a video shoot to the grocery store.  I don’t like to cake on a ton of make-up, so the look I want has to have just a hint of color without looking overdone.  I want a look that is balanced enough to go anywhere, anytime.”

Olay Total Effects with UV protection

Prevage MD

When I must use a foundation, I use MAKE UP FOREVER.  It’s a powder foundation that looks more natural on me than liquid does.

And instead of blush, I use MAC Bronzing Powder. It gives a more natural look than a red streak on my cheek.

And for the biggest lashes ever, a girlfriend turned me onto Buxom mascara found at Sephora.  That brush is off the hook!
