Lately I have been using all kinds of shower gels and soaps.  I don’t know, maybe I was going through a phase or something.  I was trying to find a new scent or a new feeling.  Well I haven’t gotten the right combination yet.  Either it was a great smell,  but left me dry and scaly or a soft feeling with a weird odor.  I gave up and decided to go back to an old faithful staple I used to purchase when I was in college from the natural food store down the street from my dorm.
It’s Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap (Peppermint Pure Castile Soap)

I love this soap.  I’m a little upset with myself that I forgot about this one.  I can wash my face, body and hair with it.  They actually mention 18 different uses for this soap on their website.  Here are a few:

1. Always dilute for Shave-Shampoo-Massage-Dental Soap-Bath!
2. Peppermint is nature’s own unsurpassed fragrant Deodorant!
3. A drop is best Mint Toothpaste; brushes Dentures Clean!
4. A dash in water is the ideal Breath Freshener & Mouth Wash!
5. Peppermint Oil Soap for Dispensers, Uniforms, Baby, Beach!
6. Dilute for ideal After Shave, Body Rub, Foot Bath, Douche.
7. Hot Towel-Massage the entire body, always towards your heart.
8. Pets, silk, wool & body tingles head to toe – keeps cool!
9. 3 dashes in water rinse most Sprays Off fruit & vegetables!
10. 1/4 oz in qt H2O is Pest Spray! Dash, no rash Diaper-Soap!

I’m not going to brush my teeth with it.  But I do like that it is multipurpose and economical.  It’s a recession proof beauty product.  As a matter of fact, you can buy a gallon of this stuff and dilute it.

For my green beauty beaters this product is all natural.  All essential oils are certified organic to the National Organic Standards Program.  It’s packaged in 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles.  Good stuff right?!

What I love the most about this soap is the feeling I get in the shower.  It gives you such a clean and tingly feeling.  The peppermint is very refreshing and it is an instant energizer, especially early in the morning.  Now here is my only caution.  A little goes a long way and in certain areas a little can go the wrong way.  Use too much and you may have a surprised look ALL DAY.  LOL

So I am very glad I found peppermint soap again.  It’s a keeper.  Does anyone else use any Dr. Bronner products?  Tell us about it.
