If you don’t want to glow and look radiant don’t wear bronzer. It’s just that simple. But if you don’t give it a try, you may be missing out on something wonderful and easy to wear.
I used to be confused about wearing bronzer. I didn’t understand the purpose and if it was right for me. But it is now one of my must-haves. I literally use it every time I wear makeup. It makes me looked sunkissed and fresh, even when I am not feeling that way. I love to look a little browner even if I haven’t been sunning on any white, sandy beaches.
My summer Beat has to include a bronzer. Hell, my winter Beat has bronzer in it. LOL…I am a fan of the Bronzer by Iman and have been wearing that one for quite some time. However, have recently discovered a bronzer by CoverGirl and I must say I am a fan.
Here’s the lowdown:
CoverGirl Queen Collection Natural Hue Bronzer
“Mineral-enriched formula pampers skin and controls oil, for a sun-kissed glow without the shine. Beautifully matches skin tones from Rich Sand to True Ebony-guaranteed.”
So first off, Sam Fine uses this bronzer. So it has to be good. If he uses it on Jennifer Hudson and his other celebrity clients, its gotta be great for me. Honestly I really like it. It comes in three shades. He recommends to contour the face, using it around the perimeter. (Afrobella tweeted instructions he was giving at a make up lesson.)
So I tried it and it definitely gives you an umph and glow. I suggest going a little darker than your skin tone to help accent the features in your face. You also can’t beat the price and it’s pretty easy to find. So start adding it to your regimen. I promise you will be pleasantly surprised. Let me know if you are a bronzed beauty and what your favorite bronzer is.
Ready…Set…BEAT!!!
I’m def. a fan of the bronzer, I currently use the prescriptives line but will be brushing it on a bit heavy trying to use it up. If my skin can look nearly as sunkissed as yours, I’m running out to get my CoverGirl.
Thanks for the summer beat tip Lady LA.

I like it alot. I must try Covergirl! I’ve been using Victoria Secret for a long time. Thanks for thip!
