My Celebrity Beauty Beat of the Week is Style Maven- June Ambrose.
I recently attended a fantastic blogging conference for women of color, Blogalicious, in caliente Miami and she was a part of the Beauty Bash party thrown on Saturday night. It’s funny because the Beauty Bash started as we were coming back from the beach. I thought I would walk in, pick up a swag bag and roll out. I was soo wrong. When I saw June Ambrose, stylist to the stars- I couldn’t go in there with my flip flops and cover up. I ran upstairs, rinsed off, BEAT like crazy and fluffed my hair. She was gorgeous, gracious and a sheer pleasure to meet. June made me want to get a weave and wear nothing but red lips and stilettos. I had a serious case of style envy… Ms. Ambrose is supa dupa FLYYY. When I grow up I want to have poise and style like that.
Her skin is a amazing. Her make up was flawless. I love June’s perfectly arched eyebrows and her eyeliner totally makes her eyes pop. I have to find out what her favorite make up is and buy all of it. LOL
June is a celebrity stylist and you have definitely seen her fashion sense on Jay-Z, Naomi Campbell, Puffy, and Kelly Ripa to name a few. Totally agreed! Ms. Ambrose was awesome, gorgeous and such a pleasure to be around. And yes, her hair was fly … I want a weave too so I can flip and toss my hair on the dance floor! Great blog!
