About LA

la and z

I am just a girl who likes to play in makeup.  Makeup can change the way you look and feel about yourself.  It’s a great way to enhance your natural qualities as well step outside your comfort zone.  For some it can be an enhancer as well as a confidence booster.

Picking the right shade or color can be a scary experience so I wanted to create a fun space that women could come and virtually test products and ask the beauty questions they are dying to know.   I have had a passion for fashion for as long as I can remember and have always been interested in achieving a particular look and style.  I love fashion and beauty magazines and especially treasure those I have collected from my travels abroad.  Some of my favorites hail from South Africa, Italy, France and Greece.

In between “beat” sessions I have a career.  I have a boutique PR company, Media Mingle (www.media-mingle.com), and currently I am the  Director of Creative Development for a Marketing firm.  In my spare time I am also a free-lance writer for Heart & Soul magazine.
